At Holland House the tiled walkway between the House and the Orangery had been neglected for some time and the elements had had a devastating effect on many of the tiles. There were twenty two panels with forty two tiles in each, eleven columns with six tiles in each and nine arches. The amount of work was enormous but incredibly rewarding, again we were not aiming for full restoration just to prevent further deterioration and repair the damage that had already occurred.

The main problem we encountered was the weather, but that is true of all outside jobs. With the opera in the summer, the cafe, the beautiful park, and the wonderful people we met, it really was a fantastic job.
